Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Core Minds Academy. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Core Minds Academy, Inc.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Core Minds Academy, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you are enrolling a child, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.

2. Services Provided

Core Minds Academy provides live, one-on-one online educational tutoring services for children aged 4–18. Services include scheduling, teacher matching, conducting classes via video platform, progress reporting, and related support.

3. Eligibility & Account

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. All account information must be accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Free Trial

One free trial class (up to 45 minutes) is available per family, per subject. The free trial is a live, 1:1 class with a qualified teacher. No credit card is required for the trial. Core Minds reserves the right to modify free trial terms at any time.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may be updated with 30 days' notice. All payments are processed securely via our payment partner. Taxes may apply based on your location.

6. Cancellation & Pausing

You may cancel or pause your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the current billing period upon cancellation.

7. Class Rescheduling

Classes may be rescheduled with at least 12 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 12 hours' notice will be counted as a completed class. In case of teacher unavailability, we will reschedule at no charge within 48 hours.

8. Conduct & Safety

All users (students, parents, teachers) must behave respectfully during sessions. Recording of sessions by users is not permitted without written consent. Core Minds monitors sessions for safety and quality assurance purposes.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Core Minds platform — including curriculum materials, recordings, and learning resources — is owned by Core Minds Academy and may not be copied, distributed, or used commercially without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Core Minds Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
